The DIMPE project, focused on boosting internationalisation in higher education institutions (HEIs) through quality practices and digitalisation, has successfully concluded. The project’s core mission was to deploy digital tools that facilitate multilingual education, drive digital transformation and foster interconnected higher education systems. DIMPE also aimed to spark innovative teaching methods within multilingual settings.

Key Objectives and Outcomes

DIMPE pursued several specific objectives, achieving significant results:

MULTIPROAPP Database (IO1): The project supported multilingual program coordinators in the design, development, implementation, management, and evaluation of multilingual programs, culminating in the creation of the MULTIPROAPP database.
Augmented Reality Training Material (IO2): DIMPE guided lecturers and students in multilingual programmes to enhance their intercultural and linguistic competence, leading to the design of augmented reality training material.
Flipbook of Policy Recommendations (IO3): The project promoted the learning of home language and culture for incoming exchange students by providing decision-makers with internationalisation strategies and actions, resulting in a flipbook of policy recommendations.
Dissemination: The project’s results were shared with various target groups within the educational community through diverse strategies and channels.
The DIMPE project leaves behind valuable resources and strategies for enhancing multilingual education in higher education institutions.
